Acoustic Beehive was founded on the principle of acoustic ecology, which focuses on the problem of the noise pollution of the urban environment. Soundscapes that were used in the installation of sound have a man-made origin. The installation is made up of 20 different speakers that reproduce sound patterns at different frequencies and describe the everyday experience of the auditory background noise absorption of people in the urban environment.
The intensive impact of human activity on the surrounding environment changes its acoustic nature. But this effect has feedback, already influencing directly on the person. Every day, the resident of the city is in contact with many different man-made origins of sounds that filled and polluted urban space. As a consequence, the blunted response of the auditory perception, and most of these sounds are consumed unknowingly at the time, as they continue to influence behavior, perception, and inner human culture.
